How likely are you to recommend Nurowav of Pittsburgh?
“I don’t normally write reviews, but this place is a complete joke. Every single time I tried to come in early just to get some information or see what Nurowav TMS even offers, no one was there. Nia, who I guess is supposed to be some kind of staff member or coordinator, is never in the office, doesn’t answer the phones, and when I finally did speak to her, she was unbelievably rude and nasty for no reason. Her attitude alone is enough to turn anyone away. If this is how they treat potential patients or people trying to get help, I can only imagine how careless they are with people who actually go through treatment here. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, and I’ll never step foot in that office again.”
“Niya did a very well explaining the process. Now after TMS life changed and I don’t feel down like I had. It saved my relationship with my partner”
“I had one virtual consultation appointment with a doctor from this practice, which I couldn't describe as less than triggering. As someone with a history of being a SA victim, a psychiatric medical doctor should NOT be condescending. Even more so, the doctor should not accuse a patient of being "antagonistic" when corrected on personal medical information. After this appointment, I was not only charged for the appointment I had, but an additional appointment. As well as medical treatment medication that I never received or had even set up appointments for. In fact, I technically still needed medically cleared from a neurologist, due to past health history. They made all of these claims to my insurance company, including all services that were never rendered. The total amount I was supposed to pay for care I never received was about $1,400. After nearly a month of continually contacting this company, they tried to ignore me on multiple occasions by not calling back when promised. As well as offer that I would not have to pay anything, but they were still going to charge the insurance company and the pharmacy. All before they had any contact with these companies themselves. Again, for services never received. Their defense was that I told them I had a letter from my neurologist, which never occurred. But even if it had, they still need the letter in writing from the neurologist themselves to start care, which they also admit they never received. I would also like to add how they publicly violate HIPAA. HIPAA states that a provider CANNOT disclose whether someone was a patient. Which you can clearly see violated in someone else's review.”
