“Since I am not exhibiting two of many criteria needed to be diagnosed with a disorder I think I have, I must be a malingerer and therefore the medicines I am taking should not be changed. (The criteria i didnt fulfill was whether i actively considered thoughts to harm. Didn't bother to explore what other diagnosis could be appropriate. Im not going to get a diagnosis through involuntary commitment) The specialist did not listen. "You came to me for my professional opinion", no I came to you because I believe my medicines arent treating the bigger scale issue I believe I have. They have failed to do their job as a specialist. That sort of attitude is what breaks people who are truly in need of help and then they feel like they have no choice but to lash out. Under my insurance arrangement I do not have a specialist copay. If I had one, I would immediately file a charge back for malpractice. Edit: The morning after I wrote this review, the manager called me to apologize for the poor experience, and ask for details. I explained further upon what i wrote in the review, and she promised to have a word with the doctor. She also offered to have me see a diffferent provider in their facility within the week. I had an appointment with a different practice later that day that I was satisfied with and informed her I would not need to make further arrangements. Thank you for reaching out and accepting my feedback (already a step above my prior psychiatrist). I will not disclose which doctor i spoke with as a gesture of fairness. Hopefully your experience is better than mine. Edit 2: One month after the appointment, I received a voicemail about scheduling a follow up appointment. Don't even think about contacting me again, your doctor has some audacity to refuse diagnosing me and then wonder why I dont have another appointment. If you have a better experience than I did, good for you. "Your mileage may vary" as people say. Sadly they are almost at levels of irreparable hostilities. I have found a different doctor who actually listens to me.”

“I am very happy with my provider m. She is easy to talk with and I feel we developed a good connection on our first visit . She listened to me and together we agreed to increase my one med for my depression sumptoms and to f/u in a month. At the subsequent appt that was the first thing we discussed with out me bringing it up. That made me feel she really was up to date with my case and me . We will continue to visit in person for another mo. Or two then I can decide if I want to visit in person or do virtual visits. It is nice to have the option although I am enjoying in person for now.”
