“I had a negative experience with the male receptionist over the phone, and with LifeStance in general. I had to cancel my mother’s appointment because she got an injury. He told me he couldn’t confirm that she was their patient because they had no ROI for me. Guess what, there was no ROI form that came up when we did her online registration. So how was she supposed to have entered one for me?? That’s your bad LifeStance. He also didn’t bother to tell me that she could fill out one online. I had to call back and asked if she could do it online and the female receptionist said she could and she sent my Mom an e-mail link over. My Mom is 83 years old and bad with technology. As I’m sure are some of their other patients. This situation isn’t THAT unusual and it shouldn’t have been this difficult to get done 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ ETA: Additionally, now I remember that we couldn’t access her patient account online when she first became a patient because they had entered in the wrong info for her and I got a “info does not match” error message. I forgot to follow up on it. It did work today and we were able to log in, however that doesn’t make up for the whole experience and my annoyance with them.”

They have an incredibly comfortable in-person experience at their office in downtown Spokane… so although I was reluctant to try their virtual talk therapy after my initial intake, I did so anyways… and I’m glad that I did. Their level of care is wonderful in this evolving field and new landscape of patient care. They are not like the “apps”. They are professional, licensed medical care providers, so don’t hesitate to reach out to them specifically, just as people should not hesitate to reach out to others for any mental health need.”
