What patients say on Google

“When going her for two meetings alone about medication and testing I had an unreasonable amount of trouble. The appointments and services themselves were fine but what wasn't was the surprise bill after. I wasn't even notified of it, and had to search out and find a $751 bill I never had call or text or mail about for almost a year. Then upon calling them and my insurance no one helped me solve it. They ran my insurance plan (which I called and was assured three separate times was both in network and covered) and found it only covers emergency care. This is actually the MAIN THING about that plan. The first thing that comes up even. I'm a college student, I'm on my dad's insurance. This is why I checked so many times with them and waa assured it'd be fine, I don't have the finer details of my plan but they said they did and it'd all be covered. Guess what was not covered. Once finding out about the bill I called billing several times and people at first acted confused as I was and like they'd get it squared away and then never called back. This week is the first time I have ever received an official notice for this bill, which is insane. I called their billing department again and was met with the most bored and uninterested assistance ever, which is fine. I get that it's not a fun job but I need help and no one helped me, just rehashed less than what I heard before. How has this situation shifted from "Oh my god, I'm so sorry, I'll fix that and call you back" to "Call your insurance again". I even requested a different billing associate and was instead hung up on. I will never work with Lifestance again. This awful management of the after-appointment process has shown me nothing good about this company.”

“Don’t schedule with KOURTNEY GIBSON if you don’t want cops to be called on you. Horrible therapy services with unprofessional therapists that simply don’t care. I was scheduled the appointment for medication prescription. Iʼve been in therapy for 5 years but with different provider and I simply wanted medication management at this time because LifeStance has coverage with my insurance. KOURTNEY GIBSON was very distant, felt like she was brushing off my concerns and focused only on stuff that fit her picture of view. I numerous times mentioned I don’t have the symptoms she tried to push on me but there was minimal response. She took one thing and ran with it. It’s been my first time seeing this therapist and her responses and lack of care just throw me off guard. To the end of the session I was crying because I simply couldn’t understand what she is saying! I asked to end the session because I felt like she doesn’t hear me and I don’t understand anything . She was saying things about me that is not right at all. After my numerous requests to end the session she verified my address, hang the call and send the cops to my house. That night I had to miss work bc I simply couldn’t leave the house handling the situation that was created.. I had to cancel my shift at work and now I’m not going to be paid the hours I missed next week so I’m short of paying daycare bill for my child. I’m absolutely devastated that my simple steps to get help ended this way. Not only I didn’t had any sympathy, compassion or sincere support but I ended up being stressed out even more! No trust to this organisation since they have the most cold hearted people working there.”

“I had my first visit with Kourtney Gibson today, here in Savannah. She was wonderful! She was very patient, understanding, friendly, and knowledgeable! She made sure that I understood her recommendations, and set up our follow up appointment right there. I highly recommend them to anyone!”

“I woke up sick 24 hours before my first appointment and I’m being told that I will be charged $100 for not canceling my appointment 48 hrs before my appointment lolllll. How am I going to cancel my appointment 48 hrs before when I wasn’t sick yesterday???? How can I go to my appointment tomorrow when I’m sick. Now I am not going to make another appointment at this place and I have no therapy. It’s outrageous that they have a policy like this when they’re supposed to care about your mental health, what a joke!!! The woman who answered the phone and helped me didn’t seem to care at all that I was sick and only focused on the $100 I’d have to pay. And why $100?? That’s a crazy amount.”
