“I first contacted Golden Hour in July 2025 to inquire about ketamine infusion therapy for treatment-resistant depression. From the outset, Rana, the coordinator and owner, was incredibly helpful in scheduling my consultation. She took the time to explain how the ketamine infusions work, making the entire process much easier to understand. Soon after, I had my initial consultation with Dr. Ali. The clinic offers convenient appointment times, including late hours and weekends, making it easier to fit visits into my schedule. Dr. Ali was knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions, helping me feel comfortable about moving forward with treatment. Despite my excitement to try the therapy, I faced skepticism and criticism from friends and family. However, I knew I had to explore this option, as daily living had become a struggle for almost a year. I had previously tried antidepressants, Reiki, yoga, and float/salt deprivation tanks to relieve my anxiety and depression, but without success. The clinic is very accommodating, and each nurse practitioner I met, Bart, Hamadri, Abril, and Kat, was personable and professional, which put me at ease. Dr. Ali is also accessible via text after treatment, allowing us to discuss my experiences and adjust dosing as necessary. As for the treatment, the effects on my mental health have been astounding. I highly recommend disconnecting for at least half an hour before your appointment to reach the right mental state. I found it helpful to bring a blanket and headphones, utilizing the eye masks they provide for the best experience. I listened to a binaural beats playlist during my sessions, which enhanced the effect. During treatment, I experienced a sense of disassociation from my physical body and was able to process the trauma I had struggled with. I had somatic releases, positively shedding tears. In the days following treatment, I continued to experience these releases, making it easier to let go of my burdens. Having struggled with severe social anxiety, CPTSD, and treatment-resistant depression for years, I can confidently say that ketamine therapy has significantly improved my ability to engage with life. After just one session, my social anxiety vanished. My sleep, which used to be a struggle, has also improved. The most significant change is that negative ruminating thoughts are no longer a part of my daily life. I’ve established a routine and feel more connected to the world around me. I can't recommend Golden Hour enough for anyone seeking effective treatment!”

“My experience as a support person was phenomenal. The care and compassion received was top notch. Everything has been so carefully curated at the Naperville location. The location was right on Washington street, has a large parking lot, and had handicap accessibility which made the process for multiple treatments so much easier. The convenience of having a 9a-9pm schedule 7 days a week made making appointments outside of my work hours super convenient. The suite and infusion rooms are beautiful and comfortable.
