“Our experience was atrocious at best. 1) My kid is a teen and this provider doesn’t see teens his age… why not just turn us away first? 2) She focused on insurance and money the majority of the visit. 3) She doesn't believe in pharmaceutical treatments for mental health, other than Prozac and Wellbutrin. She *strongly* pushes vitamins d and b12 in place of them so people aren’t ‘married to the pharmacy’. 4) She went into the lobby and very loudly said my kid needs an evaluation for something from someone else. No other patients were there, but it isn’t the staff’s business to know the information either. 5) We know much about her life and family history, ADHD, autism, etc along with how she is lucky she isn’t on welfare. My kid came from poverty and that was made known prior to the appointment. H 6) My child didn’t get to speak other than to answer the questions that were already answered on the required questionnaire. 7) She admitted she isn’t very good at psychiatry because she is new to it. She opened her clinic so she could do ketamine infusions for people and for insurance purposes she is required to have a psychiatry practice. 8) She didn’t even ask if my kid was on medication already that needed to be prescribed. She called after the appointment to ask about it. She had plenty of time to ask, if she had stopped ranting.”
