“Just unfathomable 😭 My niece is being refused treatment. With how much she’s struggling with her mental health right now, battling severe TRD & PTSD — the exact things ketamine infusion therapy are for… we are truly heartbroken that the doctors at Synergy won’t help her. She’s had to fight for her life for the last 5 years, battling a spinal condition so painful she’s lost not only her job, home, friends & independence… but the ability to do everything she loves. She’s THE strongest person I’ve ever known, but she NEEDS help. It took her MONTHS to finally get enough courage to make an appt for this therapy. We showed her the science behind how much it could help both her depression AND even her pain… and she said she would do it. We called every clinic in the valley & found Synergy was the once place we could afford treatment. As her family, we were FINALLY so hopeful. Then… she was turned away… and told she couldn’t have the treatment because of her pain medications. We are all so heartbroken and honestly, angry. These infusions are now able to done SO safely with proper procedures in place & constant monitoring. I watched them save my brother’s life. Refusing her this treatment, while she 100% meets criteria… What happened to “Do no harm?”. This is the ONE & only clinic where she can afford the treatment… and they won’t help her. We don’t know what to do. I wish the providers would reconsider & reverse their decision.”
“I know this is probably a different location, but I tried getting therapy here and they say that they took my insurance and they’re on the website for my insurance and they had me fill out all these questions like 20 pages worth of 30 questions and I did everything they asked me to do and then they make me wait a week and then say that they don’t accept my insurance even though they’re on a page that shows they can take my insurance then I get a little pissed off and I text back like are you kidding me? You said you were able to do it then they were like OK I’ll look into it. I’ll get back to you tomorrow and it’s been a week later and I’ve gotten no response. Doctor’s name is Joanne. I don’t know if it’s at this location, but I know she works for synergy everywhere doesn’t accept my insurance so a provider gave me a referral for all these providers that would accept my insurance and she was on the list and I’ve tried to make appointments twice and they never got back to me and the communication is not there and they just honestly forgot about me. I’m just knowing anymore. I’m a person with mental issues. Who wanted mental help genuinely needs help and I’ve told him that countless times in a nice way. I was never mean to them for them to be acting like this like you guys are supposed to be doctors with degrees why are you ignoring patients trying to get care and then make him do all the work just for them to say that they don’t accept insurance when originally they said that they did go to a different therapist. It’s not owned by these private companies the addresses connected to their office wasn’t even there on google maps so i can’t even call to talk to someone. like the place and person doesn’t even exist. how do people call themselves doctors and not even care when people are literally needing it.”
“EDIT*** - Mallory, one of the managers did call me today to address my concerns. She is the only person I have spoken to at this practice who has made me feel heard and like my requests were being fulfilled. I am leaving my review as I still think it is applicable but I want to acknowledge that somebody did reach out to make things right. ORIGINAL: I have never experienced such inconsistent, unresponsive, and discourteous customer service. Every time I request a medication refill or lab slip, the process is the same: I hear nothing for days, ask for an update, and I’m told they’re “waiting on the provider.” When I follow up again several days later, I’m simply told to “be patient.” I’ve been a patient here for several years, and not once has a medication refill (or any other request for that matter) been handled efficiently. Every refill becomes a last-minute emergency because it routinely takes two to three weeks of repeated follow-up just to get any movement. Patients should not have to constantly chase down staff just to receive necessary medication. Beyond the refill issues, I’ve also had repeated problems trying to reach management and the billing department regarding inconsistencies with both billing and my care. Their office hours overlap with my work schedule, making it nearly impossible to call, and even when I’ve specifically requested a callback during the limited time I’m available, that request has not been accommodated. Their text messaging service has been equally frustrating, with messages often going unanswered or receiving vague, unhelpful responses. I work as a receptionist at a veterinary clinic, so I understand how busy medical offices can be. However, I also know what good communication looks like. If one of our clients had been waiting more than 48 hours for an update on a medication refill, I would personally follow up with the provider and make sure the client received an answer. We would never expect someone to repeatedly ask for updates while receiving little to no communication—and that’s in veterinary medicine. To be clear, I haven’t had many issues with the providers themselves. My frustration lies almost entirely with the administrative and customer service side of this practice. Unfortunately, the ongoing lack of communication and follow-through has made it impossible to continue receiving care here with confidence. I have one appointment remaining because I need my medication, but after that I will be transferring my care to another practice.”
“This is the BEST place!! I feel so supported here and everyone from the front desk, to my psychiatrist and therapist are all so responsive, caring, and genuinely amazing people. I LOVE how easy it is to just text them to cancel or reschedule! They respond back almost instantly and it puts me at ease. Their online portal is so easy to use as well. So convenient for us younger generation that sometimes doesn’t feel like calling every time. I cannot recommmed this place enough!!”
