“If I could give these people lower than 1 star I would. I recieved the absolute worst mental health care I have ever experienced in my life here. My assigned psychiatrist refused to accept multiple diagnoses from her peers, and claimed that ADHD isn't real. Any changes to psychiatrists you are seeing needs to approved by the CEO, who is never available, so you're left in limbo regarding your treatment. Because of poor management and terrible psyches available I am now suffering through forced detox of my medication, with the only "apology" from the staff being "sorry i just work here, i can't help you" Stay far away from this location.”

“If I could give 0 stars I would. These crooks screwed me over so badly in a time when I didn’t have the money to spare. After going to my first appointment, my insurance rejected the claim saying that Sahara was out of network. Okay, fair, I should have double checked my referral. Sahara behavioral health, though, heard back from my insurance that they weren’t covering the appointment well before my second appointment. Instead of letting me know that I owed them more money for the first appointment, they let me schedule, attend, and pay for a second and third appointment at three times the cost of what somewhere in network would have cost me. They never even bothered to let me know this - I only found out through my insurance statements. Sahara was going to let me keep coming to appointments that weren’t covered by my insurance without ever letting me know that I was racking up hundreds in bills with them for who knows how long. When I called about this, they claimed that my insurance had told them I was in network, and that they had a record of this conversation, yet refused to give me a copy of it so that I could attempt to appeal my insurance. Furthermore, when I contacted my insurance, they showed that Sahara had never called them. When I called Sahara asking for some sort of explanation as to why they didn’t let me know after the first appointment that my insurance wasn’t accepted (because I wouldn’t have scheduled and paid for two more), they had no answer. This was MONTHS after my insurance had denied the claim. They would have let me rack up hundreds in bills without ever telling me if I hadn’t caught it myself. EDIT to respond to the owner's reply: Haha, of course you "contest the accuracy" of my review, I would expect nothing less from you. Which part, exactly, do you claim is inaccurate? I'd be more than happy to elaborate. To anybody reading this - please note than in response to my review, instead of reaching out or trying to find some way to make it right, or simply apologize for my experience, Sahara Behavioral Health instead claims that I'm making this up. As much as I wish I had the time to invent bad reviews about a business for absolutely no benefit of my own, this unfortunately did happen. I urge anybody reading this to stay far, far away from this place. They won't give me my money back, but my hope in going out of my way to write this is that I can prevent them getting any from you.”

“Dysfunctional office. Clueless staff. Bad experience. I was contacted by phone to pre-pay the fee the day before the appointment, which I did, for $216. The next day, hours before my first session, they cancelled on me, so I decided to request a refund. I was told I would be called back by the billing office, but never happened. When I called back, no one had a record of my call, no one knew that I asked for a refund, but I was told I would be called back, but they never never did. When I called back, they said their CC system was down and they couldn't refund until it was functioning. It's been over a week since I requested a refund and nothing has been refunded. I called today and spoke to someone in billing who was familiar with my request and said she would call me back. Guess who never called me back? Unbelievable. As they say, $#!/ rolls downhill so I have no faith that the therapist would've been any better than the front office. At this point, I want my money back and I'm spreading the word that this office can't be trusted to handle people's business and likely can't provide effective services to its clients. I'll find out who the office manager is soon and will voice my concerns to them accordingly. I suggest finding a better office more suited to the basic day to day operations of a front office.”

“Sure would be nice if they actually answered incoming calls. I stayed on hold for a most 26 mins with on hold music. Finally after 26 minutes the phone rang…phone rang for 3 minutes without anyone answering or there being a voicemail. Called the 623 area code number first. Then decided to do the 520 number only to have it ring and no voicemail set up! How is this place even in business is beyond me.”
