What patients say on Google

“My first few months went ok but what a complete nightmare the last several weeks have been! I was scheduled to see my regular doctor and got rescheduled 3 times (kept receiving a text a few days before I was scheduled and was given a new appointment, without even checking to see if the new appointment would work for me.) In the meantime I ran out of my anxiety medication. The 3rd time I was rescheduled was almost 2 weeks past my regular fill date, so they gave me an appointment with a different doctor to see in the meantime. I saw him on a Monday (at this point I'd been out of meds for 4 days and was getting very sick.) I had the appointment and the dr said he would call them in. I waited all day Monday, nothing showed up. I called every few hours on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and got nothing but voicemails, complete lack of empathy, and transfers to "leave another message on the medication line". On Friday I called literally pleading, that I'd been out of meds and miserable for over a week and that I can't go into another weekend like this. They finally reached the dr at 5:30pm, who said he "didn't call the meds in because it wasn't approved my insurance" (the pharmacy said that doesn't make any sense, since you have to call it in first before the insurance can deny it. Not to mention why did it take FIVE DAYS for someone to tell me this? And at this point, at least call it in so I can pay cash!) Nevertheless I called my insurance company to see if there was any issue and they said everything is fine, the medication is covered. I also called the pharmacy to see if there was something wrong on their end: "No, we've sent several refill requests to your doctor, he just needs approve the prescription." I've never been so ignored and disregarded in my entire life. My anxiety is 10 times worse than it was before this nightmare started. And I don't know how I'll ever get through another 4 days until my next appointment (at that point I'll be 12 days with no medication.) I will probably end up in the ER with a huge bill I can't afford.”

“While the Dr is nice enough I couldn't get my prescription filled due to the DEA number being wrong (whatever that means) it's a medication I can't not just stop taking. The Dr prescribed on a Wednesday. I spent all day Friday going back and forth with the pharmacy and the Drs office. I ran out of my medication and ended up at the ER to get through the weekend. Exactly what I was worried about. I think letting your patients run out of a medication they must take and ending up at the ER is unacceptable. I called the office at least six times Friday and it was different people that had to research what was going on. The provider never got back to me nor did the office. I am going to start calling when they open. Not ok. The Dr I had to see was frustrated for me and couldn't understand how "my Dr" allowed that to happen.”

“I find Pradeepta Mamidi to be very knowledgeable and helpful. She has been wonderful and very thorough. I was, however, disappointed that my test results were not available that I had been waiting for. The PsychPlus scheduling seems to have problems keeping the appointment times straight.”

“I like the Dr he listens to me asks questions and evaluates my answers and prescribes the medication I need to treat my condition. And if I need a refill he refills the medication.the billing needs to bill for Dr Malinas . Psych Plus my insurance doesn’t cover they cover Dr Malinas which by the way he’s a great Dr.”
