“I have had multiple frustrating experiences with this psychiatric office that have left me feeling unsupported and concerned about the quality of patient care. Over the course of my treatment, I have experienced scheduling issues, confusion regarding information provided about my care, and difficulty obtaining clear answers when problems arose. These issues created unnecessary stress during a time when I was seeking mental health support. Most recently, I was attempting to complete a required drug screening and explained that I was facing significant transportation challenges. Rather than feeling heard or supported, I felt that my concerns were dismissed. I was advised to take public transportation with my autistic child, which did not seem to take into account the practical difficulties my family faces. Mental health patients often face complex personal, family, and logistical challenges. Compassion, understanding, and clear communication should be a priority. Unfortunately, my experiences with this office have left me feeling unheard, frustrated, and unsupported. I hope the practice takes steps to improve communication, professionalism, and the overall patient experience”

“Do not use Psych Plus or Dina Rico if you care about your emotional or physical health. I had a problem with a prescription and neither Rico nor the company will contact me back, and I've tried email, phone message, having a pharmacy contact them, and through their website. I had to get a new doctor just to get my meds refilled, and am going through withdrawal as a result. Also, Ms. Rico shared some wildly unscientific thoughts on GMOs, so I'm not sure what I was hoping for with her "care". Update: It's been a week. No one every contacted me. My provider completely abandoned me. I had to get a new doctor to deal with this issue. Needless to say, I couldn't be more displeased with PsychPlus.”
