“I love the people here, they are so nice and helpful but since it’s a big company it takes a long time to get things done. The people here are fantastic though! The receptionists and medical assistants have been very helpful and my doctor has helped me tremendously.”

“I had an appointment on Friday, and was told at that time that the nurse practitioner required signature from the psychiatrist to fill my medication. This signature may require an additional appointment - something I was not informed of at the time of scheduling, otherwise I would not have chosen a nurse practitioner. I was told that if they didn’t get a signature, they would call me. I tried to explain that I would be out of medication, to no avail. Of note, I transferred care from another Geode location so this facility has access to all of my information. Today is Monday. I sent an email inquiring about my medication because I never received a phone call. As I’m headed to take my daughter to camp, I receive the anticipated phone call. Missed it. I have tried to return the phone call that I received this morning at least 7 times, only to be routed to the Buffalo Grove, IL location where I use to receive services. They transfer me. The call keeps disconnecting when I’m holding, and to make matters more annoying and inefficient, I have no idea if I’m financially responsible for this additional appointment that I would never have agreed to make in the first place. After speaking with them, I have now learned that I am financially responsible for this appointment and that they have to get approval for me to see someone else. Terrible, terrible processes. The nurse practitioner was phenomenal, though! We really need universal laws to support their autonomy!”
