“I’ve been a patient here for about 3 years now (maybe even longer?) i’ve never really had any issues. i don’t know what happened or changed within the company but their billing system is a complete MESS. for the past 6 months i have been consistently asking them about weird charges on my account. there were previous invoices where i had paid my regular copay, that were then updated and saying i owed much much more than my normal copay. this happened for about 10+ visits dating back to 2025. when i raised my concerns, i was told to 1) not make any payments until i received an update, and 2) that they will “reach out to their billing team and get back to me”. well this happened about 3-4 times as i continued to reach out for an update, and never received one. they do not even have a separate number to contact said “billing team”. they have not provided any explanation for these charges and have let them sit there for months. out of nowhere, i receive a letter in the mail saying that my outstanding balance ~$1,300, is going to collections. what? the balance i was told not to pay until further notice? not only is this an insane amount of money, it’s an amount that is inaccurate to what i owe. i reached out to my insurance and they said that my provider, peacock, never responded to my insurance about correcting an incorrect claim. edit: they finally updated the balance after i made this review. i hope they can improve their billing system because i haven’t had any issues with peacock aside from that.”
