How likely are you to recommend Mindpath Health Psychiatrists & Therapists - Riverside?
“Love the professionalism, competence, and kindness of the office staff, as well as a streamlined appointment process, and my psychiatrist is overall great as well. Really can’t complain at all and am thankful to have found this medical group. Additionally, my medication can be difficult to source due to shortages and bureaucratic obstacles, but they haven’t shown any frustration for having to do extra leg work to help source it.”
“I was initially a bit turned off because the provider was chewing a gum. Her audio was muffled and was slightly difficult to listen. It also bothered me a little that she went off screen while she was talking and taking notes (or so I assumed) and I was just looking at the virtual background. Otherwise her questions were thorough and her suggestions were sound. She listened well and was sympathetic.”
“I don't really like writing negative reviews for any business but I feel like my experience has to be shared so others seeking mental health services do not fall in the same situation. It was my first time seeking mental health services and I thought I would give Mindpath a try. From the moment I called the office to set up an appointment, office staff were indifferent and sounded annoyed when I asked questions about insurance and the type of care I would receive. I was asked to send my paperwork for the appointment and I did so the same day. However, on the date of my appointment, I received an email saying I was sent the old paperwork and that I needed to send the correct one while I was already waiting in the zoom meeting for my psychiatrist to show up. I called the office since my psychiatrist was not showing up and they made me feel like it was my fault for not sending the correct paperwork even though I did everything they asked days before the appointment. I sent the correct paperwork and 15 minutes late to the appointment, my psychiatrist showed up. As my first time seeking mental health, I did not know what to expect but my psychiatrist did not even introduced themselves and rushed to read different questions off a list. I had no opportunity to really talk about my situation (because we were rushing) and after roughly 20 minutes, the appointment was over. It felt pretty dehumanizing and I ended up feeling worse after the meeting. The office staff had scheduled a meeting after to check in and I never really got a reminder or a zoom link for this meeting. Weeks later I found out that it was just "cancelled" with no email reminder or notice. Even after I got my statement in the mail, I felt terrible that I had to pay $290 dollars (after insurance) for a 20 minute appointment where a Psychiatrist just read off a list of questions and did not really provide a plan of action or made me feel heard. I was just going to ignore this experience and not post a review but even while I was trying to make a payment, the site did not work after providing the right account number and account details. I found out that my name was misspelled which really did not help the situation and felt more dehumanizing. I'm not saying everyone's situation will be like this but I chose Mindpath- Riverside as my provider for mental health services because of the several positive reviews on Google. If it's your first time seeking help and you chose Mindpath as your provider, I would just make sure you keep tabs on office staff to send you the right paperwork and speak up if you're provider is not really hearing you out and is rushing the meeting. I recently received care from another provider in the Riverside area and it was a night and day difference from my experience with Mindpath so I know it's not me. That's all.”
“First time ever speaking to a psychiatrist. I was of course kind of nervous because I didn’t know what to expect. I had a zoom meeting with Uju & she was so nice to me and made me feel comfortable to open up to her about what I have been experiencing. She made me feel confident in the medication she prescribed me. I am looking forward to this journey with her !!!”
