“Let me start by saying that I never post reviews online. However I just had my first of many appointments with LifeStance (Sheena Backer), and because of the high level of professionalm and genuine care, I feel compelled to write a review. From my first phonecall to request an appointment to my first appointment today, LifeStance has made becoming their patient such an easy process. Their scheduling staff is very accommodating and helped to make sure that they scheduled me right away and with the correct provider for my needs. I have had a few horrible experiences in the recent past with providers/physicians who look good on paper and claim to care and have their patients best interest at heart, only to learn that they not only lacked professionalism, they lacked compassion, empathy and even worse, they had THEIR best interest at heart...money! My first appointment with Sheena Backer today was such a breath of fresh air. She took her time with me, listened attentively with compassion, but just as importantly, she took all of my concerns and needs into account and came up with a logical plan for my health situation. She addressed all of my concerns and throughly and thoughtfully created a solid treatment plan. She is extremely knowledgeable and put me at ease from the cost moments of my appointment to the end of my appointment with her. We need more medical providers like Sheena Backer and the other providers at LifeStance. I will be referring everyone that I know to them. Thank you Dr. Backer and LifeStance for redeeming my faith and confidence in the medical industry. You're the best!”

“Everyone should check their Yelp review, all 1 star reviews because they are true reviews. I am very disappointed with how this office handled my appointment cancellation. I called to cancel my appointment within the allowed cancellation window, so it should not have been considered a no-show. However, I was later charged a no-show fee. After receiving the bill, I contacted the office multiple times to explain the situation. I also provided my phone records and other documentation showing that I called within the required time frame. Despite submitting evidence and making a few attempts to resolve the issue, I was still charged the no-show fee. What is most frustrating is not just the charge itself, but the lack of accountability and willingness to correct an obvious mistake. Patients should not have to spend so much time proving that they followed the office's cancellation policy. I hope this review encourages the office to improve its record-keeping and customer service practices so that other patients do not experience the same problem.”

“DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! Lifestance is running a full on scam. I entered the patient portal 10 min prior to my appointment, was never admitted, and am now being charged a no-show fee after waiting on the phone for an hour to speak with the office about the issue. It looks like they prey on the vulnerable who are trying to find mental healthcare only to charge them fees after the therapists fail to admit patients to the appointments. No accountability.”
