“I waited weeks for an appointment only for the therapist to immediately tell me they weren't the right fit for me. I got a call back on Friday to reschedule with a different therapist, but I missed the call. I called back on Tuesday, repeating the message I had received, but there was no record of the call. I was back at square one. If you're looking for an experienced therapist, this might not be the place... “Experience” was my only requirement, and LifeStance falls short by a mile right at scheduling.”

“I called to schedule for severe postpartum depression. Was told I couldn’t be scheduled yet because no one was available that took my insurance. I have both private and state insurance. This company was aware of that the entire time. After a month of waiting and my depression getting more severe, they called to schedule me. I was looking forward to my appointment being able to talk to someone. The day of my appointment I logged into my patient portal to see if I could check in and it said I had no appointment. I called to see why and they said that they had canceled my appointment without telling me. They said they attempted to call me once and they got a busy tone. They did not attempt to contact me in any other way. They told me they canceled my appointment because although they are in network with my private insurance, they are not in network with my state insurance. I asked if I could just do self-pay so that I could keep my appointment that I desperately needed and they told me that they would not see me because of my insurance. This company clearly does not care about mental health. The “mental health crisis” in a America is due to a lack of accessible care by companies like LifeStance. Instead they want us to become medicated zombies or suicidal.”
