“The intake process was somewhat redundant however I appreciate that it was thorough. I had challenges with TMS treatment causing pain, and I feel as though the staff dismissed my concern. They did offer using the right side of my head rather than the left, which I was willing to try. I was asked if I heard negative things about TMS to which I replied no. In fact, I had heard positive things about TMS. It felt like medical staff was implying that my negative response to treatment may have been a preconceived notion. Overall, my depression, greatly worsened with treatment. Staff said there may be a dip in mood before the treatment improves depression. What I experienced was more than a dip, and it felt dangerous to continue with the level of depression I was feeling. When I called to cancel treatment, no one from the medical staff called to check on my well-being or to ask why I stopped treatment. If you’re going in for TMS treatment and don’t have side effects or require additional support than necessary, then this facility may be a good fit. It was not a good fit for me”

“I honestly can’t say enough good things about the ladies at Greenbrook. The staff somehow manages to make you feel safe, comfortable, cared about, and genuinely seen every single time. This whole journey has been a lot, and I’m really grateful I found a place that treats mental health with compassion and zero judgment. They’ve created an environment that feels peaceful instead of clinical and cold. Spravato has helped me more than I expected, especially after feeling stuck for a long time. It’s not magic, and it’s definitely a process, but for me it’s been worth it.”

“Leaving my initial consultation with Coordinator Alaina and I already feel a weight lifted off my shoulders. I was running late based on "reasons for needing to go" and she was so understanding. It was such a relief for someone to understand that I didn't want or intend to be late, but that it was out of my control. Her calm voice and way of explaining things in ways that make sense to the average person were very appreciated. She is even proactively taking on extra work/steps to help in my unique and unexpected situation. I'll update as the process continues. But Alaina gets 100% no matter what! 💚”
