What patients say on Google

“They get two stars only because Gail, Tamara, and Mark are great. I cannot say the same for the support staff. Here is my story. I came to TMS after having terrible experiences with 6 different providers who either gave me meds that caused seizures, forgetting to prescribe meds, or just not following through on treatment plans. When I signed up for treatment everything moved quickly and within a month I started my treatment and the treatments were working. Three months later things began to fall apart. I was placed in a copay assistance program as a means of lowering the cost of my treatment. What they failed to tell me was this copay treatment had a cap of $10,000. They never told me of this cap and subsequently scheduled me 8 treatment sessions in March and 4 treatment sessions per month afterwards. Needless to day that the $10,000 copay assistance they signed me up for depleted quickly and will not be replenished until next year leaving me to pay the $350 per treatment. On 6/30 I thought the situation was resolved and called CVS pharmacy to try and get this resolved and they told me I actually owe $2000. I did not seek this treatment casually. I sought it to help me cope with the suicide of my child. Now I am in a position in which my mental health is starting to decline, and no one can help me. I do not think they will be able to help me at all and at this point I am done seeking Mental Health Care in NC because each provider I have tried to seek help with has screwed me over in some way. I really had hoped this place would be different, and it was. It had 3 good people who are surrounded by others who did the opposite of providing quality care. I give up now. No one can help me and I am causing myself greater harm by trying. **UPDATE** I spoke with Madison Matheos your regional manager who gave me a lot of lip service and 'apologized' for not clearly explaining the copay assistance program and its terms and conditions and then left me to fix the mistake that your people caused. I have no desire to speak with you people again so you can gaslight me and lie about the pain you caused me.”

“First of all, Gail and Tamara are fantastic nurses - I would love coming here just to see them! One piece of feedback for the upper management - it seems like the two of them are always scrambling and working really hard, and it seems like one more nurse working here would really improve their quality of life. Frequently, I want to catch up with them for five minutes during my 2-hour session and they unfortunately don't have the time. Thank you team!”

“Horrible billing and communications. Everything is disjoint. I was surprised by a bill 3+ months after my final appointment. No phone number, no return email address. I am looking into filing a complaint to the proper authorities. There are nice people who work there.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Greenbrook TMS and the phenomenal staff at the Chapel Hill location. Going through TMS was a life-changing treatment for me and I am finally able to live my life with joy instead of in the fog and beneath the weight of my depression. Gail and Tamara were phenomenal and I felt supported and cared for throughout the whole process. While I am glad I have graduated, I will miss getting to see them everyday. If you feel weighed down by your depression, do yourself a favor and reach out to the TMS team. You won't regret it! (You have my permission to feature my feedback on social medial.)”
