I never felt pressured into unnecessary treatments or procedures. He is knowledgeable, respectful, and genuinely cares about his patients. I’m very grateful for his care and highly recommend him.”

“UPDATE Lisa is definitely not a very understanding provider. Is it just me or do other patients see the same provider consistently? I am shuffled between Marshall, Joseph, and now Nguyen for my next appointment. How can excellent patient care be provided when a patient is shuffled around? I don’t usually mind because I have felt, up until now and this has been over the course of several years, that Dr Bowers, Marshall, and the rest, have been kind and understanding. But communication needs to be clear, transparent, and the proper amount of time in communication should be given. The shuffling makes me have to explain myself over and over and over again. Which is frustrating in and of its self, but add extremely bad chronic pain to it, and it all begins to feel overwhelming. Up until May of this year, I had gushed about how amazing Bellevue Pain and Wellness is to all of my friends, family, and coworkers. But things have changed and not for the better. At least for me. I have been a patient of Dr Bowers and Bellevue Pain and Wellness now for 5+ years. Since the practice has expanded and grown, I’ve noticed that, for me at least, I am no longer receiving the top level of care that I had previously. It is almost impossible to get through to them on the phone and after waiting for 15+ minutes, the phone system just hangs up on you and you have to repeatedly call. Due to a paperwork mixup and spending over an hour arguing with two different pharmacies and still not resolving the issue, the clinic decided not to refill my medication for the current month. No follow through from Joseph other than a text message saying they are not refilling my meds until my next appointment in a month. There was no concern or care for the level of pain I will be in during the month. During my appointment, Joseph asked me about what level of pain I was in and I told him it was a 7 with pain meds taken that morning. And that pain will be on top of the withdrawal symptoms because I am prescribed narcotic pain meds. I’m not even a week into the month, and I have already missed three days of work because of the pain level that otc products don’t even touch and the withdrawal symptoms. I physically feel like I am dying. The clinic just leaves you hanging with no clear communication or care for the patient.”

“Dr. Robert was excellent. He carefully reviewed all the details of my condition and was very efficient. Because I was in a lot of pain, I really appreciated not being kept waiting. I saw him for L4 disc inflammation and sciatic pain, and the epidural steroid injection was much easier and more comfortable than my previous experiences with other doctors. I felt relief quickly and was very thankful for his care.”
