What patients say on Google

“This practice is really amazing. All the staff is warm and friendly and they do physical and mental health together in the same place like they could. Haydar Hassan is my primacy care, and he is fantastic. He is personable and understanding and listens without judgement. I also see Erica, and Rachael and they are amazing too! I just switched my teenagers to Denova as well. Thank you everyone for all you do! 🫶”

“I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was incredibly frustrating. It took weeks for my IUD to be available due to delays that were completely outside of my control. During that time, I had to reschedule my appointment multiple times because the office didn’t have the device yet. When I finally received a call from the pharmacy confirming my IUD would be available, I called and scheduled an appointment. I was later contacted and told it had mistakenly been scheduled as a virtual appointment instead of an in-person procedure, so I had to reschedule yet again. On the day of my rescheduled appointment, my appointment was at 3:30 p.m. An accident on the freeway caused nearly an hour of traffic, and I arrived in office at 3:38 p.m… just eight minutes late. Despite the fact that I had already been asked to rearrange my schedule multiple times because of issues on the office’s end, I was turned away and told I would need to reschedule again. I do want to say that the receptionist at the front desk was genuinely kind, compassionate, and professional. She was simply following the doctor’s instructions, and I don’t blame her at all. What I do find unacceptable is the lack of flexibility and compassion from the provider. My current IUD is well past its expiration, and after weeks of delays, multiple rescheduled appointments, and nearly an hour of traffic caused by an accident, I was devastated to be turned away over arriving just eight minutes late. I actually cried as I left because I had been looking forward to finally getting this taken care of after everything it took to get there. I understand that medical offices have scheduling policies, but I also believe there should be room for reasonable discretion, especially when a patient has already been inconvenienced multiple times through no fault of their own. Unfortunately, this experience has caused me to seek care elsewhere.”

“I've been going to Denova for over 13 years, and I've had a great experience. One thing I really appreciate is that my 3 providers are under one roof. I don't have to fill out the same paperwork at different offices or repeat my medical history and list of drugs I'm taking every time I have an appointment. My providers all have access to the same information, which makes my care much more coordinated and holistic. They also take the time to listen and answer my questions, instead of making me feel like I am being rushed in and out. I've recommended Denova to family and friends over the years, and I'm happy to recommend them here as well.”

“I go here for all of my healthcare and everyone has been excellent. Booking appointments is quick and easy - rescheduling as well. The only thing that could be better is messaging through the portal - I am unable to send messages to my providers directly it’s always billing or general Q&A… it would be nice to send messages directly to my providers or their medical assistants when necessary.”
